High-potency substances

High-potency substances require appropriate procedures and technical equipment as well as a high degree of expertise and sensitive handling by the employees.

In a laboratory area separated by a man lock, we test a wide range of high-potency substances.

A signal system showing the cleaning status and a validated cleaning concept with monitoring ensure the required safety of the working environment.

The high-potency substances tested in the HHAC Dr. Heusler laboratory include:

  • Opioids (e.g. oxycodone)

Cytostatic agents:

  • Nucleoside analogues (e.g. gemcitabine)
  • Base analogues (e.g. 5-fluorouracil)
  • Anti-androgens (e.g. bicalutamide)
  • Antifolates (methotrexate)
  • Topoisomerase inhibitors (e.g. irinotecan)
  • Platin complexes (e.g. cisplatin)
  • Aromatase inhibitors (e.g. anastrozole)
  • Taxanes (e.g. docetaxel)
  • Alkylating agents (e.g. cyclophosphamide)

  • e.g. cyproterone acetate

  • Penicillins (e.g. amoxicillin)
  • Tetracyclines (e.g. doxycycline)
  • Cephalosporins (e.g. cefaclor)
  • Lincosamides (e.g. clindamycin)
  • Fluoroquinolones (e.g. ciprofloxacin)

Our many years of expertise in handling high-potency substances allows our clients a high degree of flexibility with regard to their choice of procedures and scheduling. Rapid processing of large quantities of samples and the correct disposal of reference and retention samples form part of our daily business operations.

The associated test samples and documents are archived according to the client’s wishes.

All work and documentation is GMP-compliant, taking the client’s specifications into account.
